Passionate, dedicated, and loving, Bloom therapists love their work and it shows in everything they do. Our goal is to make a positive difference on young children and families who come to the center. We are honored to have one of the most exceptional teams in the industry; well-educated and trained, extremely friendly, honest and sincere. Each therapist goes through a comprehensive training including about 70 hours of theoretical training and hundreds of supervised practicum hours, ensuring that the entire staff has extensive experience in early intervention and behavior analytic strategies.

Meryt Tawfilis, MA, BCBA
Founder & ABA Program Director
Meryt is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a Master's degree in Special Education and ABA from Arizona State University, and a Bachelor in Psychology from the American University in Cairo. With a passion for teaching and helping special children, Meryt has provided behavior analytic services to more than a hundred children with Autism and other developmental disabilities, focusing on early intervention and teaching communication skills to non-vocal children. She has also consulted for multiple centers, nurseries and schools in Egypt and Arab countries, as well as virtually teaching hundreds of professionals around the Arab world. Meryt is also PEAK level 1 certified, and can speak in Makaton (level 1 & 2).

Mirna Tawfilis
Child & Adolescent Mental Health Specialist
Mirna is a child and adolescent mental health specialist in training, pursuing a Master of Science in Child and Adolescent Mental wellbeing at Anglia Ruskin University. As a mother of two, she has always been passionate about helping teenagers through the critical transitional period from childhood to adulthood. Mirna has a decade of experience counseling and mentoring teenagers in sports camps, as well as working with students with special abilities at the American University in Cairo. She has also coached multiple families of children with different abilities during their university years.

Ola ElHariri, SLT, RBT
Speech & Language Department Head
Ola is a bilingual speech and language therapist and Oral Placement Therapy (OPT) Level 2 certified practitioner. She earned her a Bachelor’s degree in Phonetics and linguistics from Alexandria University followed by a Diploma in Education. Not only that, but She is also a registered behavior technician, which makes her also well-rounded in ABA besides her primary area of specialty. Ola has been practicing for over 10 years and has worked with individuals with speech and language disorders including pragmatic language disorders, disfluency, receptive & expressive language disorders, and oral-motor functioning disorders. She is also experienced in teaching social skills and augmentative and alternative communication, both in group and one-on-one settings.

Moshira Attia, RBT
ABA Associate Department Head
Moshira is a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with a Bachelor of Social Work from Helwan University. She is passionate about helping young children achieve their goals and grow their horizons have a better quality of life. Her experience with preschoolers was the drive to pursue further education on how to better teach the little ones and efficiently help. Moshira is talented when it comes to handling children with challenging behaviors.

Rovan Bahnassy
Behavior Therapist
Rovan has a double major in Psychology and Business Adminstration from the American University in Cairo. She has developed a passion for working with children since her undergraduate years, and is experienced in working with various developmental delays. She strives for impacting young children's lives by making them feel more accepted and included. Besides early intervention, Rovan also has experience teaching academics to young children. She is the mix of sugar and spice; calm and patient yet strict when needed.

Margo Rizkallah, RBT
Behavior Therapist
Margo obtained her Bachelor in Psychological Science from the University of Padua in Italy. Her passion for the field of ABA inspired her to pursue a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, even before getting into the field. She focuses on building meaningful relationships with the children, and enjoys being a part of their learning and progress. Margo enjoys natural environment teaching and play time the most.

Nouran AbdelBaki
Behavior Therapist
Nouran obtained her Bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Science for People with Special Needs, Beni Suef University, with dual specialization in Autism Spectrum Disorder and Computer Science. Her fascination with human behavior and the reasons behind it is what drove her to pursue a career in ABA. She dreams of being able to use modern technology in the service of individuals with special needs, helping as many people as she possibly can.

Zalabya
Comfort & Entertainment Dog
Zalabya is a half-blind puppy adopted by Bloom. She is very friendly with children and is available at the center on demand for children who need to enhance their awareness of other creatures, and parents who need an emotional support pet (staff too!)
